Synthesis of iron nanoparticles and iron nanochains - production of iron nanomaterials for laboratory applications

Preparation of iron nanoparticles and nanochains composed of nanoparticles connected in series into chains will be carried out using the reduction reaction of iron salts and sodium borohydride. The average diameter of the obtained nanomaterials is 90 ± 35 nm. The length of iron nanochains is up to several micrometers.
