Dr Monika Michalska from VSB University Czech Republic (Leader WP2) is visiting IPPT PAN to realise the collaborative AtomDeC project goal and to carry out the scanning electron microscopy and N2 adsorption desorption experiments. The composites she will prepare will also be tested for energy storage applications.

Dr Amrita Jain attended International Conference on PROCESSING & MANUFACTURING OF ADVANCED MATERIALS Processing, Fabrication, Properties, Applications in Vienna, Austria and delivered a talk on “Fabrication of electrochemical double layer capacitor using surface modified MWCNTs as an electrode materials”

Third Annual Meeting of the AtomDeC Consortia in IPPT PAN, Warsaw, Poland organized by Dr. Amrita Jain which was attended by AtomDeC consortium members along with their respective team members. From advisory board members, Prof Diego Cazorla-Amoros, University of Alicante, Spain and Prof Seigfried Eigler, Ferie University, Germany attended the meeting.

Dr Amrita Jain visited Dr Monika Michalska, VSB University, Czech Republic (Leader WP2) to carry out temperature dependent experiments and also to perform photodegradation experiments.

Second Annual Meeting of the AtomDeC Consortia in Smolenice Castle, Slovakia organized by Dr. Eva Scholtzova (WP4, Slovak Academy of Sciences) in which all the AtomDeC consortium members along with their respective team members participated. From advisory board members, Prof Diego Cazorla-Amoros, University of Alicante, Spain, Prof Magda Titirici, Imperial College London and Prof Seigfried Eigler, Ferie University, Germany attended the meeting. From IPPT PAN, Dr Amrita Jain, Prof Michał Basista and Dr Kamil Bochenek attended the meeting and presented the achieved results.
