Strategic objectives:

  • Development of Centre of Excellence for metal-ceramic composites (bulk, FGM, coatings) with the R&D programme inspired by the needs of Transport, Energy and Electronics industries
  • Education of young scientists and PhD students in an indisciplinary manner encompassing theoretical knowledge and practical skills in processing, characterisation and modelling of composite materials
  • Initiation and strenthening of working contacts with Polish and foreign companies to maintain the applicable character of Centre's R&D activites.
  • Strengthening the research profile of IPPT by adding the materials processing to its R&D activities.
